Wednesday Marathon Workout

Had a good run of 4.5 miles. Walked the first 1.5 as a warm up and ran the last three. Ran it pretty easy. Didn’t feel any pains and averaged less than 12 minutes per mile. I hope I can keep this pace for miles 20-26. If I can, I could have a PR. I have two more runs left. One at three miles and the other at two. Then we head for Chicago. The period two weeks before the race is the tapering period. It’s basically prepping your body for the big run by cutting the distances of the workouts. Not seeing any big mileage days is normal. The Chicago Marathon is this Sunday. I’ll post updates on here but most will be posted on It’s free and you don’t have to register. Take Care and thanks for all your support. Leilan
